Course Content
Through Computer & Video Games, the culture of the Digital Era has been redefining its own rules and transforming the way in which Communication and Marketing strategies operate. By defining game design principles through the study of the technical and artistic evolution of the medium, the course will present a broad spectrum of the communication possibilities offered by the Video Games mechanics. Whilst studying the most relevant and successful video games projects, the course will focus on the guidelines that lead to the creation and development of a game project from scratch. Those theoretical tools will prove useful in creating game design documents and projects, as well as in implementing interactive game mechanics in media design.
