NABA - Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti was formed in 1980

NABA is a non-state Institute, which is legally recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and issues the Bachelor of Arts Honours award (three-year course) and the Master of Arts award (two-year course). The academy is located in Milan, one of the world's capital of Design and Fashion. The diplomas awarded are valid in all European Countries and in all Countries outside Europe that have a bilateral agreement with Italy on recognition of academic qualifications. NABA also offers a wide variety of programs, both in Italian and English.

The Academy's main characteristics are: Direct contact with designers and manufacturers which allows the Academy to show students what is happening in the creative and business design world A unique design experience which enables students not only to verify for themselves the theories they have learned but also provides them with the practical expertise in latest techniques and technologies Network of important visiting professors drawn from industry and academia using this pool of talent and expertise that exists in the powerhouse city of Milan.
