Considering the class a potential Editorial Office, after defining what could be considered useful for a Fashion publication, groups will be formed according to personal interests: Report -Interview- Inquiry - News, Information - Fashion (including an analysis of clothes for older people, children and men's wear) - Fashion Description(photo collage, words, sketching or drawing) - Advertising etc...Each group will have research to do according to the arguments and should produce one or more articles or pages. The advertising will be based at manipulation of existing ads taken from commercial publications and payoffs in the spirit of 'OURS'. The idea is to conceive a positive magazine with real or facsimile facts, each of which should be knowledgeable. Are we looking for culture or cult? gossip or facts? How can 'lightness' be seen or read without being empty? What does philosophy have to do with company strategies? The articles will not be signed: an attempt to get away from competition. Criticisms, judgments, opinions will be discussed openly in the class. Negative comments are welcome only if accompanied by positive proposals.
